Bible Project Reading: Week 45

Bible Project Reading: Week 45

Hi all, here’s the scripture for the coming week – along with the intro from the Bible Project folks – with day one being today, Friday, November 5.

This week we finish 2 Corinthians and start Galatians!
Hey reading community,

Last week we read about how Paul confronted difficulties in the church in Corinth. After following up with a painful visit to the church, Paul wrote a letter to assure them that they were loved and forgiven. This is the letter of 2 Corinthians.

This letter challenges believers to see life through the paradox of the cross. Because of the cross and the Holy Spirit, Jesus’ followers receive power to live transformed lives. They are made new by the power that raised Jesus, and they can draw on God’s grace and strength to live differently as members of God’s eternal family.
