Dear Friends,

This has been an interesting year for sure! We hope and pray that you are all doing ok, remaining safe during these times as we continue to slowly re-open the region after life on pause during the coronavirus.

We know that the coronavirus pandemic has brought challenges and changes to many families and households. Please know that we have been praying for you all as you navigate and balance work, school, childcare and everything that comes with life on pause.

Here at Fair Street Church, we have been worshipping on Zoom each week and continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Know that you are invited to join us each Sunday, just email or call the church office M-F 9am-12noon for worship details. We are also sharing the video of worship so you can safely worship at home if you aren’t able to join us at 10am. 

Another change that is happening at Fair Street is that this year, because of the pandemic and the unknowns around the pediatric syndrome, we are staying home for Vacation Bible School this year! We are excited to share that this year’s Vacation Bible School will be offered at-home/online!

While we would love nothing more than to provide an in-person experience, we take safety and the health and well-being of your child and our volunteers very seriously. We will miss being together, however, we are excited about the online opportunity that we’re offering! We have been working and will continue to work over the next several weeks to get everything ready.

The week of August 3-7, from 10-11am we will provide a welcome, singing, Bible Story, craft, snack and more as we discover together what it means to LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR…and how that means everyone!

We’re still working out the details, but we know that each morning there will be a video to watch with a welcome for the day, Bible Story, some music, and either a craft or activity for each day. Then we will gather on Zoom together for a daily check in and snack-time (provided for each day in the kit)! More information will be coming once your register.

Get ready today and send in your completed registration form to the Church Office!

Children who have completed Pre-K through 5^th grade can sign up two different ways:

• By filling out the registration form (included) and mailing it or dropping it at the church office
• By calling the church office at (845) 338-7722.

By registering by July 20, this will ensure that your child will have a “VBS At-Home Kit” reserved!

For local children, pick up instructions will be emailed out on July 28. Kit pick up day at Fair Street will be Friday, July 31 from 9am-11am and 4:30-6pm. For children joining us beyond 60 miles, we will mail out their kit by July 25.

Registration forms and information with updates will be shared on our VBS page on the website.  The picture you see to the right is on our website and we are working to make it an interactive page, be sure to keep checking for updates!
