As a community of faith we seek a personal relationship with God, work to grow an inclusive community, and strive to demonstrate God’s unconditional love in the world.
Together, we are seeking ways to engage in a deeper, compassionate relationship in the larger community and world. Believing God calls us to live Jesus’ words in Matthew, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” We are always looking for ways to extend hospitality, creating and inviting safe welcome for everyone.
Pastor Kendra not only reminds us of Jesus’ words, but also of the prophet Micah, “And what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, and to love kindness, and walk humbly with your God.”
When we live these words out in our daily lives in our neighborhoods and communities, within the country and world…then God’s love is experienced.
Have young children? Every child (of any age) is welcome at Fair Street Church. We offer a Children’s’ message, plus age-grouped Sunday schools with nursery care as needed.
